World Autism Awareness Day, April 2nd

So, April is Autism Awareness Month and there are several ways to get involved and informed.
April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day… This is the day we go BLUE! Buildings from all over the world light up BLUE to show support, Madison Square Garden goes BLUE, the Tallest Building in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai goes BLUE, even the RedBull Arena is going BLUE! Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota will go BLUE too! 7 Continents, 142 Countries, 18,602 Buildings go BLUE to support Autism. More and more buildings are being added to the long list.
The Blue Man Group recently renewed their partnership with Autism Speaks. They have pledged a $25,000 donation and will host sensory friendly shows in Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas and Orlando.
On September 2015, the UN adopted the 2030 Plan for 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 what they refer to as targets. They are working to ensure no one is left behind. You can see the agenda at their website for more information.
